~Shooting Stars Cowl~

Let me know if the “Ravelry Checkout” button below is not working for you or you cannot download the pattern by sending me an email to knitterhood@gmail.com.

This cowl consists of a center piece and two finishing borders. The center piece is knit flat on the bias in stripes of a main color and three contrasting colors and is accented with slipped stitch pattern. Its cast-on and top edges are grafted together to form a circular band. The finishing borders are knit in the round in stripes of the same colors running parallel to the center band. The borders feature the Horizontal Herringbone stitch, which gives the cowl stable structure, and the cowl holds its shape when hung from the neck even if it was knit with less elastic fibers such as alpaca.
