Cushiino

~Decorative Cushion Cover~

This decorative cushion cover pattern features the horizontal herringbone stitch and takes full advantage of its lean to create a crisp leaf pattern in two contrast colors partitioned by two borders in the same colors. For petite and elfin sizes, there are two layers of the leaf pattern separated by a block of herringbone stitch in the main color; for larger sizes, two layers of the leaf pattern stacked on top of each other form a tier, and there are two symmetric tiers similarly positioned apart from each other. The cushion cover has an envelope structure that is standard in pillowcases; the body is knit in the round, and one of its sides is extended to form an encasing flap, which is sewn on at the end. The pattern can easily be adjusted in size for any rectangular (square or lumbar) cushions, so it can be knit to fit your existing cushions and is great for revamping your home decor.
